Palouse Falls

We took a little drive yesterday to a hidden away waterfall in the Palouse.  The drive there actually felt a bit like driving through west Texas, yet the the mountains in the distance kept reminding me where I was.

Then we get there and peer over the edge and see this amazing view

then you look left and...WOW!

As you walk around to see the views there is a fence. I am thankful for this fence, and looking over the fence to see the straight drop to the bottom my legs feel a bit shaky.

However the higher you climb there is no fence.  It makes me feel very small!  We lecture the kids on safety and make our way over to get a closer view of the falls.  There is a trail that leads you closer to the falls and I may have been up for that adventure during my college days, but not today.

Hold hands please!!

The views were amazing and the camera never seems to do them justice.  I appreciate these moments of feeling small and looking out and realizing I am so thankful that I know God who created this world. And he is so Big and I am really so small.  Oh how I need  a Savior!

We joined the Green family on this adventure

Skype Play

These cousins were quite a pair yesterday as they skyped and read their Star Wars book together. And then there was that dance party that happened in the two hour Skype conversation, these boys have some moves and we all have Leggo movie songs stuck in our heads, thanks to T knowing how to operate Spotify on his computer :-)

We love our cousins, we love Skype and we love the fact that we get to have the biggest family reunion yet come July!!!
