Thanksgiving Day!

This morning we are talking about all the people we are thankful for (and Josiah has a long list!). We are making turkey's for people we love and are thankful for.  And being an elementary teacher at heart I can't pass up a fun turkey craft with oreos :)

I will give thanks to the Lord because of His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High! Psalm 7:17

Good Morning!  

Today mommy let me try to teach myself how to use a spoon!  It was fun. I think I'm starting to get it, what do you think?

I do love Birthday's

Today is my birthday :)  It's been a sweet birthday. My hubby and I celebrated last weekend at the Northern Quest Casino in an amazingly beautiful and fancy hotel.  We won this night away from an event at Brian's work.  The Lord is good at blessing us at what always seems like perfect timing.

Today has been full of many Happy Birthdays from friends old and new, a phone call from a friend I get once a year on my birthday :), package from my dear Grenny, a gift box left in secret from my mommy when she was here in Sept., Josiah offered to throw me a party earlier - nothing came of it, but it was sweet he offered :)  Firas' family skyped me and sang me happy birthday (and I'm pretty sure I saw Firas sneak a cake in the freezer just now), my nephew and nieces sent me a sweet birthday song that seriously made me tear up, it was that cute!

I love birthdays because I hear from the people I love all on one day! Happy Birthday to me! :-)

And this weekend is giving me more reason to extend the bday celebration with the long awaited 4th movie in the Twighlight series coming out :)  Forks, WA here I come!

Josiah's 3rd Birthday Party

What a fun birthday Josiah had yesterday.  Full of friends and presents! I have a picture of me on my third birthday and I look at it and like to think I remember when I was 3. I hope Josiah looks at his 3 year old birthday party and it will help create his good memories too.  We love you Josiah David!
