First of all, my husband is amazing and truly spoils me! I'm officially 30. Have been for about a week now. I'm not gonna lie, it's kinda weird saying I'm 30. Haha, does anyone remember the song "Strawberry Wine"? Came out my jr. year of highschool - ha! there's a line in that song that says, "I still remember when 30 was old" and I remember hearing that and thinking, "30 is old, I can't really imagine being 30" Well I'm 30 now. Ok i'm over it, I'll stop obsessing over my age. Anyhow, back to my husband - who is amazing! He first of all threw me a huge suprise party with lot's of my dear friends. He planned a really fun game and got all my family involved to come up with a question for each year I'v been alive and I got $10.00 per question I answered right. For example, "What Barbie was involved in the montage song you created from various tv commercials from the 80's?" HAHA I still can sing the song - thanks for that memory Kelli! So I ended up with $280.00! :-) (Black Friday here I come!) Then it was off to stay at the Red Lion by the River Hotel and Nelson, BC the next day. We stayed at a sweet Bed and Breakfast called, Cloudside Inn and cozied up in a local coffee shop to people watch. What a sweet time for Brian and I to turn off our cell phones and completely disconnect from everything but one another. We ate some really yummy food and shared some wonderful conversation. I will always treasure this memory of turning 30. Here are a few pictures of our time in Canada.

Our yummy B&B breakfast. Did I mention Grace came with us and was so good. She slept most of our trip!

We took the longest free ferry ride in the world (35 min.) to get over to Nelson. Called the Balfour Ferry.
