The men have returned from their cross country journey! Started out in Atlanta, GA for Grandpa Larry and he met up with Brian in St. Louis, MO and from there the adventure began. They were able to stop and see Mt Rushmore and the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. They even stayed the night in Rapid City, SD which is where I was born although I have never made it back since I was 3 months old. The only travel hiccup was a bad hail storm they got caught in. Brian says it was golfball size hail and it left a few dents on the truck. Praise God for a safe trip home and that we have Larry and Marilyn (a.k.a. Grandpa & Nana) here in Spokane to stay! (at least for now...)
Fun to see Mount Rushmore pics and to be reminded of 4 delightful years living nearby. We use to enjoy going to Rushmore for early morning b'fast with a view of the faces! Great pics!...Joey 'eats and drinks cause he's a growing little man'!! luv d
