Last week some ladies from church got together to throw me a baby shower. I felt very blessed and loved by these women in our church. My friend Sarah helped throw it and she made this adorable diaper cake (again, sorry for the poor picture quality that is my camera). And below is a sweet gift Lizzy made for baby girl (she is so talented!!) It's very fun to have a closet full of pink,
ruffles and bows :-) Already sister's clothes take up more space than brothers :-) I guess that's to be expected with little girls.
We pray Jeremiah 17:7,8 over our little girls life as we are getting very anxious to meet her one of these days.
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."

ReplyDeleteWe also pray for mom and baby. Will pray that like Joey, her life will bring 90+ years of glory to God here on earth -- and that she will be an open channel for His Gospel always!

Yes! Girls are definitely more fun to shop for, but they are so much more expensive!!
ReplyDeleteSo get ready - You think you will just go to the store for a new outfit... then you'll go home with a new dress, tights, shoes, hair clips,and did I mention the OTHER outfit you just had to buy because it was SO cute..... :)
